Team in Training - Dr. Ryan Moultray
Dr. Moultray is involved with Team in Training, a nonprofit program that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Dr. Moultray's family has been affected by leukemia in several ways, including an aunt who passed away from leukemia, a cousin who is a survivor, and a niece who is currently in remission. Running races is a platform for raising money. Dr. Moultray ran the Seattle Rock n' Roll half marathon and raised $2500 for the Team. Currently, he is training for the Phoenix half marathon.

Haiti and Dominican Republic - Dr. James Zingerman
Dr. Zingerman participated in earthquake disaster relief. Dr. Zingerman provided care to many injured people in a local church that was converted into a temporary hospital. This mission was done in conjunction with SCORE (Sharing Christ Our Redeemer Enterprises) International.

Aycucho and Quinua, Peru - Shereen Stocker
Ms. Stocker participated in a medical mission trip with Medical Ministry International to Ayacucho (elevation 10,000 feet) and Quinua, Peru in 2009. Long lines of people needing to see a medical provider waited outside the clinic.

San Jose, Costa Rica - Dr. James Zingerman
Along with his family and an interpreter, Dr. Zingerman gave instructions on dental hygiene and handed out toothbrushes and toothpaste. A church group from the United States had sent toys for these children who were also celebrating Christmas. "The simple joy of a child's face as they received their gift reminded my family of the meaning of Christmas."

Gales Point, Belize - Dr. James Zingerman
Dr. Zingerman and his family traveled to the Turtle Shores Mission. Dr. Zingerman and his wife provided medical and dental care for the people of this remote community. Their two sons, along with a church group from Lancaster, PA, operated a basketball camp and spent time teaching the youth about the risks of sexually transmitted diseases.

Myaguez, Puerto Rico - Dr. James Zingerman
Dr. Zingerman spent two months at a mission hospital staffed by U.S. trained physicians. This experience was a life-changing event and gave him the incentive to take more trips to underserved countries. "The impact for people can be significant even though the need can be overwhelming at times," says Dr. Zingerman. "There are plenty of ways to be of help to people beyond just giving medical care."
